Hats off to Carpe Diem for the two charts below showing the Share of World GDP 1969 to 2009 and 2000 to 2030.
Europe's GDP position in the world continues to slip away, and the U.S. is poised to exceed the European Union's share for the first time, and within a few years will slowly widen the gap.
